SUP YOGA
SUP YOGA

I LOVE SUP YOGA so I may be a little biased but there are so many reasons to give it a try!  You don't need to be an experienced paddle boarder or yogi to give it a go.

To name but a few, I give you benefits of SUP Yoga:

  • A great workout for the whole body

  • Improves balance (mental and physical, on and off of the board)

  • Refines your yoga technique - being on a board really assists with refining as well as improving technique.

  • Calming - floating on the water can have a calming affect,  as does the physical asana and the focus on breath

  • Gets you outside and into the wonders of nature

  • It really focuses the mind

  • It brings a different perspective

  • Its FUN!

Taking Yoga to the water is great for those wishing to enhance their established yoga practise, equally suitable for beginners or someone looking for a workout or to relax and unwind in nature.

Our session takes the traditional practise of yoga to the water, using the paddle board as your floating yoga mat! SUP Yoga is a wonderful way to work out your body, and relax your mind in this stunning location surrounded by nature. Being on the water increases the intensity of the traditional yoga asana (poses) helping to improve core stability, balance and tone, also helping to focus and clear the mind.
